We started Kōrero.Online because we wanted to give people access to one-on-one te reo lessons that focus on your individual needs as a learner.
At that time, the political and reo environment was thriving, the economy was in much better shape and we knew that we could add to that environment.
This is not the case now.
The proliferation of te reo Māori boils down to just one thing: access.
Given that te reo Māori is once again under attack, that the cost of living is skyrocketing and, above all, we want to remain accessible, we are going to take a taiaha to our prices.
We are reducing our prices by up to half—as much as we can without compromising our commitment to pay, at the very least, living wages to kaiako. We will also now charge a flat rate for lessons across all packages to simplify choice and checkout.
New prices will take effect from Wednesday the 19th of June.
